Join us for this residential retreat in Sâncraiu, Transylvania, Romania (04 – 13 July 2024) that will help you bring nonviolence and peace into all areas of your life. In this event, you can discover skills that will help you improve the quality of your relationships, deepen your inner peace, and increase your contribution to the world. In 2024, embark on a transformative journey to The Village IIT in Romania. Our mission is clear: to explore the power of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in fostering understanding and collaboration. This real-life village offers an authentic Romanian experience. Engage with locals and immerse yourself in the charm of rural life. Nestled amidst nearby mountains, the area boasts rich biodiversity, creating a natural wonderland for exploration. At the heart of our event lies the power of the NVC communities, where the magic unfolds. These communities facilitate empathetic connections by delving into the emotions underlying divisive arguments. Through these transformative conversations, we bridge the gap from division to cooperation. Join us on this enriching journey for personal growth, inner peace, and a global impact. 9-DAY RESIDENTIAL RETREAT IN NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION

This 9-day immersion experience into Nonviolent Communication (NVC) will offer learning sessions, home groups, coaching and feedback from skilled trainers, and a community environment where you can learn and practice the key skills of NVC.

Our team of Certified Trainers will share both the core curriculum of NVC as developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, as well as their own unique applications. The training team includes Frank Gaschler, Reena Ginwala, Robyn Marie Bors Veraart, Roxy Manning, and Simran Wester. We expect a group of approximately 60 to 100 people from different countries, cultural backgrounds, professions and walks of life.

People around the world are using Nonviolent Communication skills to transform conflict, create resilience in their relationships, and build a world where everyone’s needs matter and are met collaboratively.

We will create a dynamic learning laboratory that will show you how to create a more compassionate and peaceful culture in your life at home, at work, and in your community by learning how to:

1. Speak from the heart
2. Practice deep, non-judgmental listening
3. Build self-empowerment from the inside out

TUITION (USD)

We want to enable as many people as possible to participate in an IIT, regardless of their financial position. At the same time, we care that the cost of organizing the event is covered, CNVC (as a sponsor for this training) is sustainably funded, and that trainers and organizers can be adequately remunerated. Holding care for all these elements, the tuition fees have been set as follows:

• $2,175 – Early Bird (make your payment through 18-Mar-2024) – convert to another currency
• $2,495 – Standard (19-Mar-2024 and after) – convert to another currency

Discounts:

• 10% if you participated in (and paid for) a previous intensive training with CNVC
• 10% if you have been a Supporting Member of CNVC for 6 months or more.
• 15% for registered Certification Candidates

• If you are a full-time resident of any of the countries listed below, you qualify for the Regional Tuition Fee:
  • $1,895 – Early Bird (make your payment through 18-Mar-2024) – convert to another currency
  • $2,195 – Standard (19-Mar-2024 and after) – convert to another currency
  The Regional Tuition fee cannot be combined with the discounts listed above.

ROOM AND BOARD (RON & EUR)

This magical IIT will be held in the village of Sâncraiu in Transylvania (Romania).

Room and Board options include:

• Single Room (RON 4,125 / EUR €825) – your own private room
• Double Room (RON 3,125 / EUR €625) – share your room with 1 person
• Shared Room (RON 2,750 / EUR €550) – share your room with 2 or 3 people

Notes:

• Room and Board prices include your room and all meals throughout the event beginning with dinner the first day and ending with lunch the final day.
• Rooms and types of rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Once you pay your tuition, we will contact you with details on how to book your accommodation with the venue.
• Rooms are situated in different guesthouses in the village surrounding the venue place, all within a maximum of 8 minutes walking distance on pavement roads. If you’d like to be as close as possible to the venue, we encourage you to book your accommodation as soon as possible to increase the likelihood that you can get your preferred room type.
• Payment for Room and Board will be collected by the venue.
• If you choose a double room or a dorm, you can choose your own roommate(s) or we can assign them based upon any preferences you have.
• Bed linen and towels will be provided.
