Embodying NVC: a Journey of Liberation

Date
February 5 – October 15, 2026
Times
8 - 10am PT Thursdays

A 9-month program for deep learning, courageous connection, and collective healing begins on February 5, 2026 and meets on Thursdays from 11 am – 1 pm ET (New York). We’re considering a Tuesday 8–10 PM ET cohort to better support the Asia-Pacific region. If that interests you, email us with your preferred times.

“This isn’t just about how we speak. It’s about how we live, how we lead, and how we stay human with one another—especially when it’s hard.”

Our Vision

We’ve created a globally accessible platform for embodied NVC learning, where growth is visible, feedback is kind, and practice is real.

Who This Is For

We designed this program for two groups: people new to NVC and people aspiring to become NVC trainers.

Whether you’re just starting or nearing certification, there’s a place for you here. With two tracks—one for new learners and one for experienced NVC teachers—we meet you where you are and support your growth. Join a global circle of facilitators, coaches, educators, and change-makers transforming how we relate, teach, and lead.

If you’re on the NVC path, you might recognize these struggles:

  • You’ve been practicing for years, but certification seems out of reach.
  • You offer empathy to others but lose track of your own voice.
  • You can teach the concepts—but facilitating groups still feels challenging.
  • One painful interaction knocked the wind out of you, and your mojo hasn’t fully returned.
  • You long to bridge race, class, or culture—but fear making a mistake or causing harm.

These aren’t personal failures. They’re signs of deeper gaps in how we build community and integrate awareness of trauma, power dynamics, and system oppression.

What Makes Us Unique

You’ll get to work with the NVC Whisperer—an AI companion we’ve trained to give empathic, observational feedback on real conversations. You can record a story about something you’re struggling with and receive empathic reflections on what feelings and needs might be alive for you. Or you can upload an empathy session, a conversation filled with honest expression, or a giraffe dance—and ask for exactly the kind of feedback you want.

Later in the program, you can share a clip from a training you led, a conversation you facilitated, or a group you supported—and receive detailed feedback on your facilitation, teaching, or mediation skills.

You won’t just study theory. You’ll learn a skill. You’ll use it in real life. You’ll teach it to someone else. And you’ll grow, week by week.

You’ll also experience the power of real connection in weekly sessions. Our curriculum is aligned with certification requirements and integrates social change, authentic dialogue and helps you develop the skills for navigating power and difference. We bring curiosity to how social location, language, and lived experience shape communication. We invite real conversations—whether we’re sharing feedback, facilitating groups, or navigating conflict.

Why This, Why Now?

The world is aching for real connection. Burnout, polarization, fractured movements, and unresolved conflict keep us isolated and exhausted. The global crises we face—climate collapse, racial injustice, systemic harm—can’t be solved without transforming how we listen, speak, and stay in relationship.

This program is a response to that call. It’s a space to build the skills and courage needed to meet this moment with clarity, connection, and compassion.

Teaching What You’re Learning

Each week, you’ll focus on one practical skill that brings NVC to life. Click here to see the curriculum and learning objectives. You won’t just learn it—you’ll live it. You’ll apply it in real conversations, reflect on your experience, and then teach it to others.

You’ll have access to customizable, scripted lesson plans with sample language, timing guides, and adaptable exercises. You can tailor them to your voice, your group’s needs, and your cultural context.

You’ll practice with peers, guide others through the same skills, and reflect together. In this rhythm—learn, apply, teach, reflect—you’ll deepen your own understanding while stepping into facilitation with confidence.

Teaching what you’re still learning invites humility and curiosity. It breaks the trap of perfectionism and deepens your understanding in real time. You’ll discover that the most transformative facilitators aren’t those who have it all figured out, but those who model the courage to keep growing out loud.

Learning Community

We’re cultivating a community where conflict is held with care and missteps are celebrated as part of our shared learning journey. Together, we’ll explore:

  • Conflict as a doorway to deeper connection
  • Resilience in the face of shame
  • The power of vulnerability
  • Trust and belonging through sacred witnessing
  • Humor and play as healing forces
  • Joy as a liberatory practice

When rupture happens, we pause, tend to what’s alive, and support repair—so that you can bring these same skills into your own circles.

We believe growth happens best when you can see it, feel it, and celebrate it—with others cheering you on. You won’t be growing in isolation. You’ll have a learning pod or accountability group to share your intentions, celebrate your wins, and stay connected to what matters most to you. Together, you’ll support each other’s learning goals with presence, play, and honest encouragement.
